Nice basic points, but repettetiveSeems more like a blogpost, rather than a book。 Didn't come across anything new, but some tasty quotes reaffirmation of thoughts and ideas already heard before。 Nice basic points, but repettetiveSeems more like a blogpost, rather than a book。 Didn't come across anything new, but some tasty quotes reaffirmation of thoughts and ideas already heard before。 。。。more
Katie Stevens,
This is a reread for me, and one I will read again in the future。 Simple, straightforward tips on living a creative life that all ring true and helpful, put together in a visual way that tickles the artistic brain。 It’s short but worth it。
Gabe Williams,
Wow, so much valuable and validating information in such a short book。 I read this in one short night but I will likely return to it like a textbook, I hope to make notes and highlights and use it as a guide。 There were times in this book where I thought I was doing it wrong, and this book told me I wasn’t。 This is an incredibly important read for anyone even remotely creative。
Ednisa,
Inspiring!
Victor Haselmann,
Simple, but straight to the point。 A humorous point of view for people experiencing a creativity block or impostor syndrome。
Marcela,
Easy read, took me less than an hour to get through。 It had some cool ideas that made me think。
Maria,
I found it very inspiring。 And the series was definitely the motivation I needed to get properly started on my creative projects。 Highly recommend。

creative inspirationThis is one of my favorite books of all time。 Tons of wisdom jam packed into this book。 I’ve read it a second time now and will likely revisit its secrets until they’re buried deep within my heart。
Fadi Ashy,
This is one of the short sweet books that all creative people have to read, to be honest, it's more of a long article than a book but has all the important information and advice in the right amount of test as I said earlier short and sweet。 This is one of the short sweet books that all creative people have to read, to be honest, it's more of a long article than a book but has all the important information and advice in the right amount of test as I said earlier short and sweet。 。。。more

another useful one by Kleon, but not much to write about it - useful tips and affirmations, again。 this time, focusing on "stealing" - lifting useful, interesting, or otherwise noteworthy things from other artists and the world around you to use in your own art。 neat stuff another useful one by Kleon, but not much to write about it - useful tips and affirmations, again。 this time, focusing on "stealing" - lifting useful, interesting, or otherwise noteworthy things from other artists and the world around you to use in your own art。 neat stuff 。。。more
Din Cassamo,
This book has given me good insights into how I can become an artist。 I've always had imposter syndrome in me, always felt that I didn't have a creative side in me and that I wasn't capable of it。I discovered that the only way to become an artist is to create。 Even if you're not an expert。 Start by copying the art of people who inspire you。 This will inspire you and help you understand more about the artist。I didn't know that financial security affects the creative side of the brain。 Money worri This book has given me good insights into how I can become an artist。 I've always had imposter syndrome in me, always felt that I didn't have a creative side in me and that I wasn't capable of it。I discovered that the only way to become an artist is to create。 Even if you're not an expert。 Start by copying the art of people who inspire you。 This will inspire you and help you understand more about the artist。I didn't know that financial security affects the creative side of the brain。 Money worries can distract you。 Making time for Hobbies/Boredom boosts your brain's creativity without even trying。 There is no new idea。 One creator influences another creator。The best way to make art is to start creating and not compare your art to others。 You won't be able to please everyone。Using restrictions and limitations is a positive way to push your brain into your creative work。 Having limited resources really increases creativity, so take the challenge。The good example the writer mentions is the fact that you cook only with the ingredients you find on hand。And most importantly, share your work! Use the internet to share and connect by creating a social media presence。 Compliment others by reposting content in your pest。That way he won't feel obligated to reply to your message in private。My action plan: FIND AN ARTIST WHO INSPIRE YOU AND COPY THEIR WORKS and FIND A WORK BY MY INSPIRING ARTIST AND HAVE IN MY WORKSPACE。Thank you Austin Kleon。 。。。more

When will I stop learning? Austin Kleon who is the author of the book has written that “ Google everything。 I mean everything。 Google your dreams, Google your problems。 DON’T ask a question before you google it。 You’ll either find the answer or you’ll come up with a better question” Base on what he has written on his passages I come up with 2 points that change my mindset on EDUCATION are:1。 Education is not only studying for a score, it goes beyond that: I have to discover more things that relate to my interest rather than just keep learning or spending my power and energy on what is not crucial to me。 When I am saying this I don’t mean that marks are not necessary but I go to school to learn not just only to get a great score。 Great score or certificate is a symbol that demonstrates you are successful in your study and I can say it is a prize to give back for your effort and sacrifice。 However, at this point I don’t see education as a classroom anymore, I don’t see it as an institution。 I see it as a way of going through life。 Study what we are curious about not only for a great score。 2。 The Internet is a mysterious place: have you ever wondered why most of the time when you search for something on the internet it has tons of data or information related to what you search? So there are lots of aspects waiting for you to do the exploration and uncover the answer to what you ask。 It is a spot where you can build a school system and create a system of lifelong learning on your own。 It does not mean I encourage you to stop going to school。 I mean you should establish your own system of learning in order to gain more knowledge。 I just want you to believe that studying is significant for our lives don’t stop studying when you graduate。 For instance, if you have a goal of earning 1 billion dollars but your knowledge still has limits, and stay at the same level, don’t expand your comprehension so how can you own 1 billion dollars, even if you work hard。 Finally, Keep learning unless you die。 Education is a weapon that can change the world for the better。 Again, this is only my perspective。 You don’t have to think in the same way as me。 While I hope that this at least adds up new aspects for you to view education not only to achieve great scores。 Btw, If you have anything to say on this topic or disagree with my points you can drop your comments down below I'll read your comment。 Thanks for reading。 Always develop yourself。 。。。more

Usama Navid,
Steal like an artist is a comparatively small book to read。 It consists ten life lessons。 Even if you read 5 minutes daily - one lesson each day, it is only going to take 10 days。
Bethany,
Like an inspirational speech, but a lot more palatable for me。 I liked the minimalist formatting。 The black-out poems are cool。
Linh K。 Nguyen,
A book, nope, it's more like a notebook about 10 create tips。 The first few dozen pages are quite attractive because of the fresh perspective。 The rest of the book is bland, and it's all surface advice。 It's just a little inspirational。 The quote that I remember the most is: "Nothing comes out of nothing。 Every creative work builds on what's already there。 Nothing is completely original"。 A book, nope, it's more like a notebook about 10 create tips。 The first few dozen pages are quite attractive because of the fresh perspective。 The rest of the book is bland, and it's all surface advice。 It's just a little inspirational。 The quote that I remember the most is: "Nothing comes out of nothing。 Every creative work builds on what's already there。 Nothing is completely original"。 。。。more

Very practical Great book。 Very good and practical advice。 The idea of stealing from many creators as research is an interesting concept。 Helpful information for productivity。
